The EX-42374 PCI I/O card provides 4 serial RS-232, 422 and 485 high-performance UART 16C1050 outputs. It was developed to add 4 additional serial combo ports for PCs, small workstations or servers via the PCI bus. The card is fully PCI or PCI-X plug and play compatible and has no problems with IRQ and I/O address conflicts. It supports ATA TM Auto RS-485 Transmitter features. In addition, +5 V or +12 V can be configured on pin 9 for a POS system (power over system).
