The EX-1183HMVS-2 provides four screw-mountable USB 3.2 Gen 1 (previously USB 3.0 or 3.1 Gen 1) downstream ports with 15 kV ESD over-voltage protection for each output. The EX-1183HMVS-2 also provides 1.5 A of power for up to four ports simultaneously to charge iPhones, iPads, smartphones and tablets. It is possible to connect up to four external USB peripherals to a USB 3.0 port from a notebook, PC or server in the 19'' rack.
