The CFH ZS 231 tinning stone (item no.: 52231) is an indispensable accessory for electric soldering equipment and copper soldering irons. It enables pre-tinning, cleaning and maintenance of copper soldering tips in a single operation - for clean and durable solder joints. Thanks to its special composition of compressed metal powder (S-Sn97Cu3) with inorganic activators, the tinning stone is free of ammonia and lead and reduces smoke and odors during work. The application is very simple: The hot soldering tip is pressed into the tin brick with light pressure, which melts the solder and the tip is optimally cleaned and tinned. Supplied in a practical, resealable metal tin for safe storage.
