Noiseblocker is the specialist in particularly quiet fans. In order to achieve this, the company relies on high quality with low manufacturing tolerances and a high level of technological know-how with German engineering. In addition, the manufacturer also states that their technical specifications represent realistic values, which therefore cannot be compared with other manufacturers.
Noiseblocker Multiframe models are the flagship in the range with an innovative housing and suspension. The BlackSilent series, by contrast, is a value-for-money range, based on a frame with conventional design, but also optimised for minimal noise. Now in its third revision of the series, these fans are suitable for both CPU and housing.
A common feature of all the fans is a black frame with blue transparent fan blades. This is a 120-mm fan operating at 1000 rpm. In doing so, it generates just 13 dB(A) and a throughput of 69 m³/h. The fan is connected via a 3-pin connector and can be throttled back using an optional fan control, meaning the starting voltage is 5 V.
In order to further reduce the noise levels, vibration-absorbing rubber pins are included to attach the fan.
