Robust and highly reliable, inductive sensors from Contrinex are suitable for non-contact detection of metallic parts at distances of up to 40 mm. The vacuum encapsulated electronics and metal housing protect the sensors against shocks, vibrations, dust, dirt and moisture. Contrinex sensors are ideal for use in demanding environmental conditions. An inductive sensor generates a high-frequency magnetic field. If a metallic object approaches this field, energy is drawn from it and the output switches.
