The vacuum-sealed electronics and the metal enclosure protect the sensors against impact, vibration, dust, dirt and moisture. Contrinex sensors are ideal for use in demanding environmental conditions. An inductive sensor generates a high-frequency magnetic field. If a metallic object comes near to this field, energy is taken from it and the output switches.
