Transparent for low-energy plastics for small bonding gaps
WEICON Easy-Mix PE-PP 50 is a methyl-acrylate-based 2-component construction adhesive. Thanks to its transparent curing, it is particularly suitable for high-strength bonding of low-energy plastics, such as PE, PP and TPE, in a visually appealing way. The adhesive's special formula makes it suitable for zero-gap bonds and for bonding substrates with extremely small adhesive gaps (less than 0.2 mm). The structural adhesive has a fast strength build-up and a high final strength. It is resistant to impact, ageing and chemicals, and is slightly thixotropic. PE-PP 50 has a short 6-minute pot life and a 12-minute handling strength. It is mixed 1:1 and since the adhesive has an integrated primer, the parts being glued do not need to be pre-treated.
The Easy-Mix D 50 Dosing gun is needed to process the Easy-Mix product.
