FI/LS switches (RCBOs) provide personal and property protection as well as protection against electrically ignited fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. They ensure protection of single-phase circuits against overload and short-circuit currents, protection against sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating currents with a smooth DC residual current component of up to 10 mA against earth. As well as fault protection (indirect contact protection), additional protection and fire protection. They comply with the product standards IEC/EN 61009-1 (VDE 0664-20), IEC/EN 61009-2-1 (VDE 0664-21).
Areas of use include household, commercial and industrial applications. The compact design of the DS301C RCD is ideal for use in power distributors where space is limited. The series has a differential residual current of 30 mA and a B or C tripping characteristic.
