The HomeMatic IP switch circuit board allows the integration of common electrical appliances in the HomeMatic IP smart home system. For retrofitting, simply install the tiny circuit board at a suitable place in the device housing and connect it to the existing pushbutton or signal input, for example. A miniature relay provides switching capacities of up to 30 V/1 A. If the relay is not required, it can simply be broken off the circuit board, making the circuit board even smaller. The open collector switching output with 30 V/0.5 A can then be used instead. Once installed, conventional household appliances, light installations, personal µC applications or even garage opener drives that are connected to the HomeMatic IP Access Point can be conveniently switched via the HomeMatic IP app, remote control or wall switch.
