LOCTITE® 5188 is a highly elastic sealant which cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. It is suitable for rigid metal flanges, particularly where there is minor oil contamination of the flange surfaces. The product is particularly suitable for aluminium parts where very good adhesion is to be achieved. The product achieves an instant seal at low pressures.
