The USB 3.2 Type C to HDMI® converter allows users to extend the functionality of a single USB 3.2 Type C port by connecting and simultaneously using an HDMI® display and a USB SuperSpeed peripheral device as well as a USB Type C power adapter to their MacBook, Ultrabook or notebook. The only requirement: the computer must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
This converter has a combined USB Type-C data and power supply connection that supports Power Delivery up to 100 W or alternatively data transfer of up to 10 Gbps. When a Type-C power adapter is connected, the notebook or Macbook can be charged and/or powered via the Type-C port while simultaneously powering the connected peripherals.
With support for resolutions up to 3840x2160p@60Hz, the converter is perfect for use by designers and video editors. Installation is extremely simple, no drivers are required. USB type C has a reversible plug that can be used regardless of the plug orientation.
