The WERA slipSTOP blade prevents slipping out of the screw head. The laser-tip treatment creates a micro-rough tip on the surface with case hardening up to 100 Vickers, which essentially ''bites into'' the screw head. Bothersome, often expensive drilling out and surface damage and injuries when slipping out of the screw head are prevented. For slotted screws, a lateral slippage is often prevented to a significant degree.
