The U6 Extender can be adapted to an existing network in minutes and centrally managed using either the UniFi Network web app or mobile app.
Important: These requirements must be met in order to properly integrate the U6 Extender into a Ubiquiti WLAN system:
- APs providing wireless connectivity for the U6 Extender must be upgraded to version 6.0.11 or higher
- Dream Machines (UDM) must be updated to version 1.12.22 or higher
- Dream Routers (UDR) must be updated to version 2.3.15 or higher
