The CFH Tinner TI 228 (item no.: 52228) is an indispensable tool for maintaining lead-free soldering tips. It is used for tinning, cleaning and protecting the tips and significantly increases their service life. It is easy to use: Before breaks in work or at the end of the soldering process, briefly dip the hot soldering tip (250-400 °C) into the tinner until it melts and wets the tip. Then remove any loose activation residue with a metal sponge. The tinner is free of ammonia and lead, consists of compressed metal powder S-Sn97Cu3 with inorganic activators and is supplied in a practical, resealable tin with adhesive pad. Ideal for professional soldering work and hobby electronics.
