Product Description
This socket provides a solid solution for devices with standard DC power plug connector (5.5 x 2.5 mm) - typically in consumer electronics, measurement and control equipment and smaller power supply units.
Thanks to the panel mounting, it is particularly suitable for applications where the socket must be mounted on the front of the device and secured mechanically and reliably.
The mentioned current carrying capacity of approx. 5 A (according to the parts list) makes it suitable for applications with slightly higher power consumption, i.e. not just for ultra-light consumption, but medium DC power supply.
