Smoke alarm device Dual Q
Gira offers the first home smoke detector in Germany that combines two detection methods in one device: photoelectric scattered light measurement (processor-controlled) and heat measurement using a thermal sensor. This provides double protection for family and home. Up to 40 devices can be networked together so that you are warned throughout the building if there is a fire somewhere.

The new Q label is an independent and manufacturer-neutral quality mark for high-quality smoke alarm devices that have been specially tested for long-term use. The latest generation of Gira smoke alarm devices meet the criteria of the new Q-label quality mark. The smoke alarm devices work according to the photoelectric scattered light principle without radioactive preparations. The smoke alarms detect the development of smoke in good time and warn before the smoke concentration can become dangerous for people. The alarm is triggered by a loud pulsating alarm tone and a flashing LED.
Twice as safe thanks to heat and scattered light measurement with Q labelThe Gira Dual Q smoke alarm device is equipped with two detection methods, providing double safety. Visually, it detects small smoke particles before things get dicey and dangerous for people. In addition, heat sensors measure the temperature changes in the room: this allows different types of fire, such as liquid fires, to be registered more quickly and detected reliably.
