The NF-A9x14 PWM is a highly optimized, quiet 92x14mm fan in premium quality, which draws on pioneering aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels and Noctua's AAO frame system. Thanks to a design depth of only 14mm, the NF-A9x14 is perfectly suited for low-profile CPU coolers as well as all other applications requiring thinner fans. Noctua's novel PWM IC for fully automatic control and the SSO2 reference class bearing guarantee superb smooth running and excellent long-term stability. 14mm Low-profile construction
With a depth of only 14mm, the NF-A9x14 is considerably slimmer than standard 92x25mm fans. This makes it ideal for all applications where there is not enough space for standard fans, such as low-profile CPU coolers in HTPCs or server environments.
Flow Acceleration Channels
The impeller of the NF-A9x14 is equipped with so-called Flow Acceleration Channels at the suction side. The acceleration of the air flow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades reduces the suction-side vortex-ablation, resulting in higher efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emission.
Integrated Anti-Vibration Pads
The anti-vibration pads, made from extra-soft silicone, reduce the transmission of minimal vibrations and are compatible with all standard screws as well as standard mounting systems or fan clips used in CPU coolers.
SSO2 Storage system
The NF-A9x14 is equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctua's proven SSO storage system. At SSO2, the rear magnet sits closer to the fan axis, resulting in even better stabilization, resulting in further improved precision and durability.
PWM IC WITH SCD
The NF-A9x14 PWM supports fully automatic speed control via PWM and uses Noctua's new, specially designed NE-FD1 chip. This new PWM IC integrates Noctua's smooth commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which minimizes PWM switching noise and makes the fan even quieter at low speeds.
Low-Noise Adapter
The NF-A9x14 PWM is supplied with a (L.N.A.) that reduces the maximum speed from 2200 to 1700rpm. This allows you to operate the fan at a constant 1700rpm or limit the maximum speed in PWM operation.
Comprehensive Connectivity Options
While the 20cm short primary cable helps to avoid cable clutter in typical applications, the included 30cm extension provides extra range for all cases. Both cables are fully sheathed and a 4-pin Y-cable allows a second PWM fan to be controlled at the same connection.
