Noiseblocker Multiframe models are the flagship in the range with an innovative housing and suspension. The BlackSilent series, by contrast, is a value-for-money range, based on a frame with conventional design, but also optimised for minimal noise. Now in its third revision of the series, these fans are suitable for both CPU and housing.
A common feature of all the fans is a black frame with blue transparent fan blades. This is a large 140 mm fan with 1,100 rpm. It thus provides a balance of a high airflow (85 m³/h) at an acceptable volume (19.5 dB(A)) and can be used if required with an optional fan controller or a voltage transformer for even quieter operation. This means the start-up voltage is less than 4.5 V - a great value. The fan is connected using a 3-pin.
