The manual describes how to connect the RC522 module to any Arduino or Raspberry Pi. The integrated MFRC-522 from NXP communicates with your developer board via the SPI interface and offers RFID according to the Mifare protocol in the 13.56 MHz (High Frequency) range.
In industry, RFID is often used for object tracking and positioning in logistics.
