The new ALL-PR2012P-E PoE repeater extends the PoE signal by 100 meters each. This length is usually the maximum distance for the PoE supply of power and data. With the help of the repeater, up to 300 meters of PoE can be achieved if a new device is installed every 100 meters. This is only possible because it is an active device and the signal is constantly being reprocessed. The repeater is fed in with IEEE802.3at and outputs IEEE802.3af PoE. Due to the highest certification for protection classes -IP68, the product is suitable for outdoor use, as it is dust-proof and protected against permanent immersion. The installation of the outdoor repeater is clearly simple and shown in the diagram below. In order to convey a better idea for the concept of an outdoor repeater, here are some usage scenarios:
