These useful twin-core connectors in a set are ideally suited to applications where moisture or adverse environmental conditions play a role, such as telephone wires or door intercoms, or in harsh industrial environments for test & measurement, signal and control applications. Due to a gel filling of the connector, the contact is optimally protected against liquid media in the long term and ensures a secure connection of signal wires or for voltages up to 75 V/DC or 50 V/AC. The cables are stripped during the crimping process and the electrical contact is established.
