This isolated barrier is suitable for intrinsically safe applications.
The device is used to supply valves, displays and audible alarms in hazardous areas.
The device is loop-fed so that the output draws its energy from the input signal. The output signal has a load line. As a result, the output voltage and output current are dependent on the load.
At maximum load, a voltage of 10 V at 45 mA is available for use in hazardous areas.
