With the PREMIUM radio roller shutter motor, you can motorize and operate your roller shutters via radio transmitter, app or voice command. The maintenance-free, smooth-running tubular motor is installed in the roller shutter shaft and is ideal for motorizing roller shutters in your own home. It is supplied ready for installation with an adapter set, a two-meter-long power cable and a height-adjustable silent-running wall bearing.
The extra-wide adapter ensures optimum power transmission to the roller shutter shaft and compensates for an unclean shaft cut. The integrated radio control reduces the effort involved in installing, wiring and adjusting the roller shutter motor. However, to be able to operate and adjust it, you need an additional control element, such as the Schellenberg radio hand-held transmitter, the Schellenberg radio timers or a smart home system from Schellenberg, Smart Friends or the Magenta SmartHome system.
The PREMIUM wireless tubular motor was developed and optimized for integration into a smart home. The end positions can be set not only by hand-held transmitter, but also conveniently via app, smartphone or tablet. A new feature is the innovative, bidirectional radio communication, with which the tubular motor can not only receive radio signals, but also transmit them. The tubular motor is also equipped with an over-the-air update function and constantly reports its current status thanks to the keep-alive mode. This means that the position of the roller shutter can be queried and changed in seconds via the app.
If you want to control your roller shutters by voice command, you will need a smart home control center and a smart speaker from Amazon Echo or Google Home. Once the control center and the speaker are connected, you can activate the roller shutter motor for voice control and give Alexa or Google the voice command to open or close the roller shutter.
If the roller shutter is blocked, frozen or overheated, the obstacle detection or thermal overload protection prevents the roller shutter from being raised or lowered. If you use the roller shutter motor in the smart home, you will also be alerted to the problem with a push message via the app you are using.
