Pioneering hybrid technology
The hybrid technology enables a loss-free signal transmission of high-resolution HDMI signals over distances of up to 100 m, due to the combination of the advantages of fiber optic cables and those of copper cables. Due to the hybrid technology, all HDMI data (e.g. EDID, HDCP, CEC) and the 5V voltage can be transmitted, in contrast to pure optical HDMI cables.
EMI-immunity and flexibility for many areas of application
The hybrid cables by Python® Series provide protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Due to their light, slim and flexible structure, they are suitable for installations of different sorts, e.g.:
- Home theater, video walls, conference room video systems, security systems
- Medical AV applications, plain video systems
- etc.
From 50 m upwards, the cables come on a coil, for an easier transfer.
High-quality materials
The solid and shielded all-metal plugs and gold-plated contacts ensure for an optimal connection. Due to the galvanizing, the plugs are protected against corrosion. The conductor of the cable consists by 99,99% of oxygen-free copper (OFC/CU). In conjunction with the high-quality OM3 fiber optice cable, this enables a higher breaking strength of the cable.
Easy handling due to Plug and Play
Connect and go! Connect the signal source (plug labelling „source”) to the HDMI socket of the singal load / display plug labelling ”display”), an external power supply or a driver is not necessary.

Notice:
AVOC-HDMI cables are very sensitive -bending of the cable and shortfall of the minimum bending ratio of 2 cm can lead to irreversible damages of the cable. Heavy objects are not to be placed on the cable....
