The SAT2MSAT25 2.5-inch SATA to mini SATA SSD adapter enclosure converts an mSATA (Mini SATA) mini SSD into a standard 2.5-inch SATA SSD for use in any location where a 2.5-inch SATA drive can be used.
To optimize performance and take full advantage of the speed potential of SATA III hard drives, this HDD backplane supports SATA III with transfer speeds up to 6 Gbit/s in combination with a compatible controller.
The converter provides all the standard mounting points that a standard 2.5-inch hard drive uses, and can be installed in external hard drive enclosures, hard drive docking stations, or desktop or laptop computers. The chassis also features a unique design for easy data pass-through without conversion bottlenecks, allowing the mSATA drive to work as fast as the host system/interface allows.
