This Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 M.2 SSD housing enables the use of a PCIe/NVMe-based M.2 SSD as a mobile, external drive for PCs and notebooks. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 SuperSpeed data rates up to 20 Gbit/s. ''USB Attached SCSI'' (UASP) also guarantees high speeds for UASP-enabled computers.
The USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 M.2 SSD housing is compatible with PCIe/NVMe-based M.2 SSDs with Key M in 30, 42, 60 and 80 mm lengths. It is powered via the USB bus and does not require an external power supply unit - ideal for IT professionals for mobile use. The housing has an elegant and robust aluminium design for better heat dissipation.
*Please note that 20 Gbit/s can only be achieved with a USB 3.2 2x2 host controller.
