Fire protection with the AFDD 5SV6
With the 5SV6 fire protection switch, Siemens is the first manufacturer to present the third generation of products for preventive fire protection and thus a new innovation: The AFDD 5SV6 is the first device on the IEC market with integrated miniature circuit breakers in only one division unit (instead of 2 TE previously) and at the same time compact as never before.
Due to its narrow design, the 5SV6 type fire protection switch can be installed in a particularly space-saving manner: In new electrical installations, this saves 50 percent space compared to the installation of two separate devices.
Smallest fire switch in the world
The new fire protection switch is so compact that it is suitable for installation in new buildings as well as for retrofitting in existing buildings. An extension of the electrical installation to protect against electrical fires in line with standard requirements is thus possible at any time quickly - quite simply and without additional space requirements.
