"The EX-3455 SATA 2 hardware RAID controller was designed to easily upgrade yournew or existing system with RAID 1 or 0 hardware.
The installation is very simple.
Both hard drives and a port of the motherboard areconnected to the EX-3455.
For an existing operating system, data from hard drive 0 is automatically copied to hard drive 1 in the background.
You can continue to work normally during this time.
When a new operating system is installed,the data is written to both hard drives simultaneously with no loss of speed.
The EX-3455 can be installed in an 8.9 cm (3 1/2"") or 13.34 cm (5 1/4"") front bay or in a PCI Expressslot.
With the low-profile bracket, the EX-3455 can even be used in anarrow housing up to a height of 8 cm.
Since the EX-3455 requires no drivers and software, it can be used for any operating system.
