The mechanical safety switches of the SLS series are suitable for the safe position monitoring of movable, isolating protective devices (EN 60947-5-3). If the corresponding protective device is opened on a machine, the dangerous machine movement is switched off. In the event of a danger, the machine is switched off by evaluating the contacts using a suitable basic device of the safeRELAY series or using one of the SAMOS® or SAMOS®PRO safety systems.
