The new Eaton 5P is the next generation line-ineractive UPS for 850VA, with advanced LCD and power metering features.
The 5P is the perfect UPS for protecting IT and network equipment such as servers, switches, routers and storage devices, whether in tower or rack format.
Management functionsThe new graphical LCD display provides clear information about the status and measurement data of the UPS at a glance (in seven languages).
The extended configuration options are also accessible via easy-to-use navigation buttons.
The 5P can measure energy consumption and provides kWh data via the LCD display and Eaton's power management software.
Load segment control allows for prioritized shutdown of less important devices during power outages to extend battery life for critical devices.
Load segment control can also be used to remotely restart devices on the network that have ''crashed'', perform scheduled shutdowns or sequentially start devices.
The 5P has serial and USB communication as well as a slot for optional communication cards (e.g. SNMP/web card, relay card).
Eaton's Intelligent Power® Software Suite - compatible with all major operating systems including virtualization software such as VMware and Hyper-V - is supplied with the UPS.

Pure sine wave output: In battery mode, the 5P delivers a high quality output voltage, powering even sensitive devices such as power factor corrected (PFC) servers.
Adjustable tolerance and sensitivity: The user can maximize battery life by widening the input voltage window or the adjustable sensitivity for the input waveform (via LCD or software) and thus adapt the UPS system to specific conditions (e.g. generators).
Availability and flexibilityThe 5P UPS system is available in both tower and 1U rack versions, with an unrivaled power density of up to 1.1kW in just 1U.
Stronger batteries that last longer: Eaton's ABM® technology uses an innovative three-stage charging technique that extends battery life by up to 50%.
The batteries can be replaced without having to shut down the connected equipment (hot-swapping).
