E297 installation relays are electromagnetic operated mini contactors with a width of 18mm (1 module unit). These installation relays can be used to set up a reliable consumer control system. The installation relays are usually used via a control switch (permanent contact) where, for example, lighting, air conditioning, a fan or
similar consumers are controlled. The device remains in the ON position as long as the control voltage is supplied to the coil. If the control voltage is interrupted, the installation relay always returns to the rest position (OFF position). Thanks to the optimum switching performance, they are also suitable for applications in industrial environments and where it is necessary to control more demanding
consumers (such as several lighting groups).
