Formlabs BioMed resins have been developed specifically for the healthcare sector. BioMed clear resin is a hard, stable material for biocompatible applications where long-term contact with skin or mucous membranes occurs. This material is certified as USP Class VI and is suitable for applications where wear resistance and low water absorption are important.
Printed parts made of BioMed clear resin are compatible with conventional sterilisation methods. BioMed clear resin is manufactured in our ISO 13485 certified facility and supported by an FDA Device Master File. It supports a 100 micron print resolution.
Notes on Formlabs BioMed clear resin
The resin is available on Form 3B and Form 2. It is not compatible with Form 3. The material needs to be cured. In Form 3B it is compatible with all resin tanks. The resin tank LT is required for Form 2.
