The Aqara hub E1 features a compact design and offers a great deal of flexibility for installation. With a size of 10.8x3.0x0.8 cm and a weight of just 58 grams, the compact hub is not much larger than an average USB stick. A standard USB-A port is built into the hub housing, so the new hub can be powered by almost any USB-equipped device, such as power sockets, power strips, PCs, power banks and even wireless routers. Combined with the 210° adjustable USB plug, the E1 hub can be positioned flexibly.
The E1 hub also offers extensive compatibility and makes the connected Aqara devices available to the most popular ecosystems and voice assistants, such as HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT, Alice and Marusya. In addition, the E1 hub can function as a 2.4-GHz Wi-Fi repeater***, allowing users to enjoy a better experience with an optimised Wi-Fi network.
