With its optical and vibrating display the Testboy 114 the latest evolution of the non-contact voltage tester from Testboy.
The ease of use and variety of different applications make it indispensable for both DIY enthusiasts and also for electricians. For example, an invisible cable break in an extension cable is displayed within a tolerance of only few millimetres. A broken bulb in a chain of lights is located within a few seconds and live conductors detected through e.g. cable connections, cable drums, outlets, switches and sockets.
The enclosure is made of impact-resistant and shatterproof ABS plastic for use in harsh environments. The integrated LED-torch serves as a light source and also to switch between the two measurement ranges (from 12/110 V AC).
The Testboy 114 works with the capacitive measuring method. In contrast to the inductive measuring method, no current flow is required.
