What this product does
The TL-WN722N wireless-N-USB adapter allows you to connect a desktop computer or notebook to a WIFI network and access a high-speed Internet connection. It conforms to the IEEE802.11n standard, and therefore offers a WIFI speed of up to 150 Mbps, making it ideal for online gaming or even video streaming. The WIFI security encryption, which protects the network from outside threats, can also be started easily by pressing the ''QSS'' (Quick Setup security) button.
Wireless-N speed & range
Based on IEEE802.11n technology, the TL-WN722N has further excellent features for low-loss transmission over long distances and for obstacles in a small office or large apartment, even with a reinforced concrete construction. The TL-WN722N delivers a performance increase over older 54M products to give you a more enjoyable browsing experience, also when exchanging files and viewing streaming media.
Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) automatically avoids channel conflicts. Along with its selection feature, this function looks for a free channel and exploits the benefits of the channel connection, thereby significantly improving the performance of your WIFI network.
Detachable external high-gain aerials
The TL-WN722N has an external 4 dBi high-gain aerial that can be rotated and oriented in various directions in order to adapt to various operating environments. It also achieves better performance than an internal aerial. More more demanding applications, the aerial can be replaced by various other aerials in order to achieve greater flexibility and WIFI coverage.
WPA/WPA2 encryption - advanced security
In terms of WIFI connection security, WEP encryption is no longer the best or most secure protection against outside threats. The TL-WN722N offers WPA/WPA2 encryption, developed by companies in the WIFI Alliance to increase the security of your WIFI network.
