With the Batavia impact wrench you can screw without effort, because this powerful tool does all the work for you. The impact wrench does not turn in a specific direction when you screw into a hard surface. It has a universal hexagon socket so that you can use the impact wrench for all ¼'' hexagon bits.
How does an impact wrench work?
The motor of a conventional drill generates constant pressure to turn the drill chuck. The drill chuck of a cordless impact wrench rotates due to the force of the impact. Between the motor and the drill chuck there is a spring, a hammer and an anvil that generate the torque of the impact screwdriver. The motor releases the spring powerfully. In this way, the hammer turns against the anvil and the drill chuck begins to rotate. Then the motor compresses the spring again and the process starts all over again. This sounds like a very slow process, but the Batavia impact wrench has an impressive maximum output of 3000 blows per minute.
