"The Modbus TCP/UDP fieldbus coupler connects the modular WAGO I/O system to Ethernet.
The fieldbus coupler detects the inserted I/O modules and uses this information to create a local process image.
The two Ethernet interfaces and the integrated switch enable the fieldbus to be wired in a linear topology.
Additional infrastructure elements such as switches and hubs are not required.
Both interfaces support auto negotiation and Auto-MDIX.
The last byte of the IP address and the IP address reference (DHCP, BootP) can be determined using the rotary switches.
The coupler is suitable for fieldbus communication in MODBUS® networks.
A number of standardised Ethernet protocols are also supported (HTTP(S), BootP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, (S)FTP).
An integrated web server provides configuration options and information on the status of the coupler.
