Micro-bridge air flowmeters of the AWM700 series provide inline air current measurement with a specially developed bypass air flow housing. The sensors measure air flows of up to 200 standard litres per minute (slpm) and typically cause a pressure drop of 1 inch H2O. AWM700 has the capacity for large air flows in a small enclosure. The sensor has a response time of 6 milliseconds, requires a voltage of 10 V DC, but uses only 60 mW. The compact plastic enclosure withstands overpressure of 25 psi without compromising performance. The AMP-compatible snap-in connector ensures reliable connection. The sensor is also suitable for portable devices and battery-powered applications. The sensors of the AWM700 series offer a combination of proven reliability, a high level of accuracy and precise switching characteristics for use in fans for medical devices and analytical instruments. Their accuracy throughout their lifetime reduces the number of required recalibrations. Each AWM700 sensor provides amplification and temperature compensation.
Micro-bridge air flow meters from the AWM series are not designed to detect liquid flows, and will be damaged by liquid flowing through the sensor.
