IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet standardBy adding the IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet (PoE) function to a non-PoE Ethernet switch or router, the IGP-201IT can be connected directly to any IEEE 802.3af/at end devices such as IP cameras, WIFI APs, video voice over IP (VoIP) telephones, multi-channel WIFI access points, information kiosks, POS systems and thin clients that support the IEEE 802.3af/at inline PoE port.
Certified rugged designThe IGP-201IT is equipped with a dust-proof IP50-rated metal housing and is designed and certified for use in harsh environments to withstand high levels of vibration, shock, drop and ESD/EMI surges. Certifications for industrial use include EN 61000- 6-2 and 61000-6-4 (EMC), IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC61000-4-3 (RS), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), IEC 61000-4-5 (overvoltage), IEC 61000-4-6 (CS), IEC61000-4-8 (magnetic field), EN 60068-2-27 (shock), free fall (EN 60068-2- 32) and EN 60068-2-6 (vibration)
Flexible and reliable power supplyThe IGP-201IT offers an optional solution for PoE-enabled devices and is the perfect addition to existing non-PoE network infrastructures or retrofit projects. It features PoE short circuit protection and overcurrent protection to protect and prevent damage to network devices. It delivers up to 30 watts of PoE power over the four pairs of standard Category 5e/6 Ethernet cables.
