Position sensors in the 2SS series include magnetoresistive materials made of silicon inside a plastic enclosure. The integrated circuit responds to very weak magnetic fields with a digital output. Although this signal is compatible with the signal from our digital Hall effect sensors, magnetoresistive sensor signals can be triggered with a much greater distance between the sensor and the magnet.
• When operating with high sensitivity, the distance can be increased by one inch or more depending on magnet size
• Digital p-switching power output
• Omnipolar — can be operated with magnetic north or south pole
• Operating rate: 0 kHz up to more than 100 kHz
• Small size
