Summer of Love was a social phenomenon that took place in the summer of 1967. A cultural earthquake determined to destroy the old values of the previous generation and embrace a new consciousness of freedom, sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. In search of enlightenment, the Flower Children traveled to places like Machu Picchu and Kathmandu in brightly decorated Volkswagen buses.
