Description

Noiseblocker is the silent fan already made famous by the BlackSilentFan and UltraSilentFan series. The super-quiet fan significantly reduces the noise and vibrations generated in the housing. The previous series have already impressed with their outstanding silent properties and superior technology, but now the NB-eLoop with its bionic frame is gone even further.

The most striking feature of the new bionic fan from Noiseblocker is the completely new blade shape, which ensures that even less noise is generated in the air flow than before. The new fan also bundles the air flow. This allows the use of a directional airflow with less spreading loss, which can boast excellent benefits depending on the area of application and the combined technology (directional air transport, airflow management, water cooling).

The new fans have been designed based on the research results of bionics expert Dr Rudolf Bannasch, whose research led him to develop the basic principles of the loop rotor. Over the last two years, the new technology has then been developed further in Noiseblocker's research laboratory to get it to the stage that it is ready to use and ready to put into production. This complex development process was made possible by funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The objective of the project was to develop the ''quietest fans in the world''.

The technology not only reduces the level of noise generated by the air and increases the air flow rate at the same speed within a defined area, it can also help you to save energy. In addition to the bionic fan shape (based on the shape found in nature) and optimised electronics, the high-tech fan also boasts other innovative new features. These features include a developed NanoSLI bearing (version 2) from Noiseblocker and a sealed housing to protect against dust.

What's more, the NB-eLoop features a cable management system: only a very short 4-pin cable is attached to the fan itself, and two different adapter cables (included) can be attached to this cable to change its length. Thanks to the use of Makrolon polycarbonate, the chassis is also damped to prevent resonance. Additional buffers are included with delivery.

Thanks to the PWM function, the current version of the B12-PS operates within a range of between 400 and 1500 rpm and can generate a considerable static pressure of up to 1.475 mmH2O. This is all the more impressive when taking into account the air flow performance: Despite the low speed, it can generate up to an enormous 98.7 m³/h. Even at 12 V and full speed, the fan is still never louder than 21.2 dB(A) — an excellent quality.
