The Python® Series High-Speed HDMI® 2.0b AOC cable with state-of-the-art hybrid technology and 18 Gbit/s data rate transmits uncompressed audio and video signals up to 4K / UHD at 60Hz (4:4:4). At the same time, it offers complete protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). The robust armored cable design makes the cable ideal for use in industry, medical technology and event technology.

Compared to standard AOC cables, the version with steel armor and TPU cable jacket inside is additionally protected by a flexible and armored steel tube in addition to the Kevlar fibers (aramid).
Due to this high-quality and robust cable construction, the cable is tread-proof, offers protection against rodents and is used wherever highest reliability is required. The cable material used is high-quality and halogen-free TPU material. In addition to flexibility and stability, it combines durability through UV, acid, alkali and oil resistance with safety-relevant properties such as flame-retardant, low-smoke and self-extinguishing fire behavior. The durable, robust and precision-engineered HDMI connectors are housed in zinc-plated full metal housings for a secure fit and perfect transmission quality. When the cable is not in use, the two connectors can be stored in the screw housings attached to the ends and are thus protected against negative environmental and weather influences.
Future-oriented hybrid technology
The hybrid technology enables lossless transmission of high-resolution HDMI signals over distances of up to 100 meters, as it combines the advantages of a fiber optic cable with those of a copper cable. The AV streams are transmitted via fiber optic cables, which are insensitive to electromagnetic interference and allow long transmission distances. For this purpose, the electrical signal is converted into an optical signal in the first connector and then converted back again after transmission in the other connector. In contrast to purely optical HDMI cables, all HDMI data (e.g. EDID, HDCP, CEC) and the 5V HDMI voltage can be transmitted with the help of the hybrid technology and the copper conductors contained in the cable.
