When working on electronic components, there is a risk of destroying them. With the TorqueVario®-S ESD torque screwdriver set, this problem is a thing of the past. The ESD torque screwdriver is manufactured in accordance with the international standard IEC 61340-5-1 and thus guarantees maximum protection of the electronic components. The dissipative tool handle has a surface resistance of 106 - 109 Ohm and dissipates electrostatic energy in a controlled and safe manner. In addition, the torque screwdriver enables controlled tightening of the screws. Using the integrated numerical scale and the included adjustment tool, the torque range can be variably adjusted to cover a wide range of applications. A clearly audible and perceptible signal when the torque is triggered ensures process-safe working and protects against material damage and rework. With a tripping accuracy of +/- 6%, the torque tool meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 6789. The set includes a bit holder for holding 1/4'' bits. The ESD torque screwdriver is also compatible with the Wiha Torque 4-mm interchangeable blades (series 2859).
