A broken pipe, a defective seal or an open cellar window during heavy rain: Water can cause great deal of damage in a short period of time! But with minimal effort this can be prevented. The SMT 5000 water detector can have up to four water sensors connected to it. By means of the integrated potential-free relay contact, signal generators, solenoid valves or alarm systems can be controlled. A signal generator is installed to provide a loud alarm. The loop that is triggered can be detected by means of three LEDs.
