The mechanical safety switches from the SLS series are suitable for safe position monitoring of movable isolating protective devices (EN 60947-5-3). If the corresponding protective device is opened on a machine, the hazardous machine movement is switched off. In the event of danger, the machine is switched off by evaluating the contacts using a suitable basic device from the safeRELAY series or using one of the samos® or samos®PRO safety systems.
