For the most demanding of server applicationsThese three hard drive backplanes have proven themselves in challenging server applications. They can be operated with both SATA and SAS hard drives. They are extremely stable even with a very high data throughput, which is why we recommend them in particular for challenging applications in RAID systems. Controlling the temperature is designed to be correspondingly complex. The aluminium parts dissipate the heat and the 80-mm fan is reliable and quiet. If the temperature inside the housing becomes too high, acoustic and optical signals are issued as a warning. All mechanical parts are designed to withstand high levels of stress. The aluminium parts are electrolytically sealed.
