With this USB hub, you can quickly and easily expand your PC or Mac by 4 USB interfaces. Each port corresponds to the USB standard 2.0 and thus offers a data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbit, which is 40 times faster than the standard USB standard 1.1.
The hubs provide all of the benefits of USB: all the connected devices are detected from the hub directly, without the need for time-consuming or complicated installation, just real Plug&Play. In particular, working with peripheral devices such as scanners or printers that comply with the USB 2.0 standard is facilitated.
Gone is the time when you had to pay for the convenience of USB installation with a loss of speed. Also for connections with USB devices with USB standard 1.1, the DUB-H4 and the DUB-H7 can be used without any problems. They control the data transfer so that the speed can also be optimised in the ''older'' USB standard.
The hubs have 4 type-A downstream ports for connecting USB peripheral devices or other USB hubs as well as a USB type-B upstream port for connection to the computer.
By cascading multiple hubs, up to 127 USB devices (scanners, cameras, etc.) can be connected. Diagnostic LEDs always indicate the port status.
