JUMO surface resistance thermometer with connection cable
Description
Surface resistance thermometers with connection cable are preferred for temperature measurements on closed pipe systems and other round or flat surfaces. Due to the easy installation with straps or hose clips there is no need for any mechanical processing of the measuring location.
The indirect temperature prevents interference of the medium in terms of flow. On the other hand, pressure and chemical effects have no impact on the service life of the resistance thermometer.
The measured object is hardly influenced by the low thermal mass. A thermal compound is available for improvement of the heat transfer. Large temperature differences between the measured medium and the environment are received directly in the reading. In such cases, we recommend an additional insulation.
The measuring insert is equipped as standard with a Pt 100 temperature sensor in line with DIN EN 60 60751 class B with a two-wire circuit.

Versions with a hole also enable a screw fixing on any surface, e.g. on heating plates
